My own 2020. Career results
Hello everybody.
I don’t write in this blog so often, mainly due to lack of time. This year is extremely horrible for our generation. COVID-19 broke a lot of plans, economics, lives and so on. My plans also were changed a lot. In the beginning of 2020 I was working on buddhasoft.ru project. I wanted to create an IT consulting agency for Russian small businesses. I have an experience in creating IT products, teams and so on and I had a plan to help other people to introduce IT processes into their businesses. Furthermore, I created a bunch of offers, a website, a strategy and even started to plan a marketing company and lock-down happened. At the same time Russian economics was crushed by Rosneft fuckup with OPEC and the cost of Russian ruble increased to 75 RUB for 1 USD and 85 RUB for 1 EUR. Suddenly everything in Russia rose in price.
These two main factors changed my plans for the year. I made a design to change my main job and started to search remote one in a foreign company. I focused on US and EU companies. For 6 months I was working hard on my English-speaking skills, my programmer knowledge and I sent infinity number requests to companies. I had a strong goal — to get a salary in US dollars or Euros without relocation to another country. In October 2020 I’ve got a job offer from one of Europe company and I signed a contract and started for them. Now I don’t have problems with money, Russian economics and so on. I have a plan to continue my graduation next year and I have great plans to conquer the world.
Of course, I have to mention in this article something about pandemic. All countries of the world have a battle with COVID-19. Millions of people were killed by the disease. A million of people lost job and plans. Millions of people lost their relatives, friends, and close. Well, yes, we have various vaccines. But we still don’t know how they actually work. I urge you to wear masks, gloves and go out to public places as little as possible. Take care of yourself guys.
