When I stop posting to the channel, it means that I am busy with something very important. Unfortunately there are a limited number of hours in a day, and I need to use them carefully. A couple of weeks ago I came to Armenia again, and this time I had to prepare a social card to get a residence permit and a few powers of attorney to complete some business in Russia.

I immediately started the process by searching for a notary. There is a website in the Armenia where contacts of all the specialists of the kind are listed and due to this it is possible to be sure that they are real and have a licence. I phoned them but nobody answers me, an I just went to the nearest offices in order to get an information.

At one of the notaries I was directed to a translation company at 1 Baghramyan Street where specialists prepared two certified translations of passports for AMD 10000 and two power of attorney ones for AMD 20000. They also sent me to an acquaintance notary, who notarized the documents for another AMD 30,000.

In total, two notarized translations of a passport and two powers of attorney cost me AMD 60000 ≈ 10000 rubles ≈ EUR 140. I spent 20 minutes in the translator office and an hour of waiting in a notary one.
